How are the pages calculated?
One page of translated text contains 1800 symbols (with intervals). This can be calculated in a Word document (Word count – characters with spaces – the symbols displayed are divided by 1800).
How do I know what type is my document?
Standardized forms: all standardized forms, issued by state institutions – birth certificate, marriage certificate, etc.
Standard translations: diplomas, certificates, personal correspondence and other standard, but not standardized documents.
Non-specialized translations: diploma appendixes, legal and medical documents, declarations, court certificates, contracts and other specific texts.
Specialized translations: all types of text, containing technical, medical or economical terminology, requiring in-depth knowledge of the field and thus needed to be translated by a specialist in the area.
How is the price calculated?
The price for a written translation is calculated based on our price list. The price is per translated page of text (1800 symbols with intervals) and is determined by the specifics of the text, the language of translation and the deadline of the order.
What is an official translation?
Translation of a document in a translation agency, authorized by the Ministry of exterior. The translation is printed on the company form, signed by a sworn translator and stamped by the agency. An official translation can be used in all institutions in Bulgaria. For some documents, legalization is also required, especially if they have to be used abroad.
How do I know who translated my document?
At the end of every official translation, there is a declaration where the names and signature of the translator can be found.
How do I know that the translation is of high quality?
We work only with experienced translators and uphold a certificate for quality of the translation process that is subject to international control and regulation. Only companies that maintain high standards of translation can hold the certificate continuously.
Can my document get lost?
No, it cannot. The documents you provide us with are kept in the utmost security and confidentiality.
How long does it take to translate a document?
How long it takes to translate a document, depends on its volume and characteristics. The standard order is 3 work days; for fast order – 1 work day; for express order – 8 hours. For bigger translations, the period is extended.
Can't I just translate it myself?
A good command of the languiage is not a guarantee for quality translation. A good translation requires knowledge of the language specifics and terminology in the given sphere, as well as the standard formatting of the given country. Our translators are specialist with significant experience in translation of all kinds of documents and never compromise with quality.
Important: When you give documents for translation, check the corectness of the information on them, in order to avoid mistakes! We can make absolutely no changes to the documents or the translations!
What is legalization?
Legalization means for a document to receive the Apostille certificate, which guarantees its authenticity.
Why do I need to legalize a document?
In order for your document to be true and legal outside the country it is issued in. Depending on the case, there are some documents that require only an official translation. Please contact us for more information.
Do I have to give the documents for legalization personally?
Yes, the documents are given and received personally or via an authorized person. Only original documents or copies, authorized by a notary public can be legalized.
How long does it take?
The period for legalization is different, depending on which ministry has jurisdiction over it: for the Ministry of Justice, the period is 3 days, after which the documents is submitted by us for verification of the signature of the translator in the Ministry of Exterior. For the Ministry of Exterior – normal order is 4 work days, fast order – 2 work days and express order – 1 day. For the Ministry of Education and Science – the period is 5 working days /and the document has to be deposited in person/, after which it is handed to the Minsitry of Exterior for verification of the signature of the translator by us. Which documents need legalization?
All official documents that have to be presented to official institutions outside Bulgaria. Documents, with which Bulgaria has a legal aid agreement, do not require Apostille – only an official translation, verified by the Ministry of Exterior
Which countries accept Apostille (Hague convention)?

Important – There is no need to legalize documents issued by the States that have ratified the Hague Convention!
Countries under the Vienna convention - Documents for civil status
From 18.12.2013, in Bulgaria came into force „The convention on the the issue of multilingual extracts from civil status records, signed on 09.08.1976 in Vienna.“ Civil status documents issued by Bulgaria shall be issued in three languages and do not need to be translated. Documents issued by Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland, Turkey, Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Poland, Montenegro, Moldova, Lithuania, Estonia and Romania under the Convention do not need to have Apostille, only an official translation and verification of the signature of the translator in the Ministry of Exterior.
