What is legalization?

Legalization means for a document to obtain a special Apostille certificate , which guarantees its authenticity. To be true and legal, all documents for countries, part of the Hague Convention, must be Apostilled by the relevant ministry responsible for that document. For civil documents under the Vienna Convention, a trilingual apostille is placed in a municipality, which removes the need for its  translation and legalization.
